PILATES MAT Mixed Level
Pilates is our foundation at BALANCE! This class is the perfect environment to learn correct posture, technique and breathing right from the start while you enjoy benefits of a fabulous workout. This class develops muscle tone, core strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and more efficient patterns of movement. This class is customized to those in attendance, so everyone is welcome. However, we strongly recommend and introductory private session prior to attending your first mat class (particularly with injury, weight, pre-natal, or other concerns). Mat classes may include props: small balls, magic circles, rollers, and light hand weights. Take what you learn from this class to enhance your daily lifestyle routine and/or your sport. The workout is done in bare feet or grip socks, and please wear a fitted top so the instructor can see the alignment of your spine during your workout.
PILATES MAT Re:Form
Not your typical Pilates Mat class! This class utilizes the foam roller while incorporating the principles of the Pilates method. The focus is on enabling myofascial release while challenging your body’s ability to balance as we strengthen your core and postural muscles. Suitable for athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone who seeks release from tight muscles and joints.
This class is a BALANCE exclusive workout that is a uniquely fun, high-energy group fitness experience ~ A fusion of exercise techniques from the worlds of Pilates, Dance, Cardio-Sculpting, and Yoga. You’ll firm, tighten and tone your whole body without adding bulk, and you’ll burn mega-calories along the way… No dance experience required! Just join the fun! The workout is done barefoot or wearing grip socks.
This perfectly BALANCE-d workout is a fun & effective full body metabolic strength & cardio workout. Get ready to sweat while building strength & stability by implementing the TRX suspension trainer together with the principles of Pilates & a few cardio HIIT blasts! Please bring running shoes to be used for part of the class.
BODYPUMP® by Les Mills
The true BodyPump class, exclusive in Grand Cayman to BALANCE! – Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP®: torches calories & gives you a total body workout in less than an hour using the REP EFFECT, creating a lean, toned, athletic physique. Join in for motivation and great music – You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and inspired, & ready to come back for more! Wear running shoes and bring your water, towel, and prepare to sweat!
