JOIN US FOR HEART HEALTH MONTH CHARITY CLASSES!

We are honored to be promoting our second annual Heart Health Month Charity Classes event at Balance, on Saturday, February 23rd , with 100% of proceeds being donated to the Cayman Heart Fund.

Our goal at Balance is to promote the importance of heart health and awareness around the prevention of heart disease to our Cayman community. For the past 12 years the Cayman Heart Fund has worked diligently in the community raising funds to increase awareness about the risks for heart disease and stroke.

The Cayman Heart Fund strives to:

1) EDUCATE the public to prevent heart disease, stroke, and risk factors.
2) INFLUENCE policy and investments to support healthier lifestyles.
3) SUPPORT access to high-quality care and lifesaving equipment.

Heart Month is a fantastic way to remind everyone to focus on their hearts and encourage them to get their families, friends and communities involved. The most important thing you can do is to speak to your physician about your risks and know your numbers by checking for blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar levels, weight, and BMI. Exercise and proper nutrition are also key in controlling your risk factors.

To participate in one of our Heart Month Charity Classes, simply email us at info@balancecayman.com, or log onto www.balancecayman.com, and book via our MindBody online scheduler which you will find under the “classes” tab. Please book early as space is limited.

CLASS SCHEDULE:

9:30 am - Heart Healthy Barre Fusion w/Sue
Come and join this "Heart Healthy" Barre class where we will focus on a faster tempo to get our hearts into that "steady state" zone. We will challenge our length & strength with body weight and light resistance, & bring our bodies into better alignment and Balance!

10:30 am - BodyPump Express w/April
Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetitions, BODYPUMP Express torches calories & gives you a total body workout in less than an hour using the REP EFFECT, creating a lean, toned, athletic physique. Join in for motivation and great music – You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and inspired, & ready to come back for more! Wear running shoes and bring your water, towel, and prepare to sweat!

11:30 am - Pilates Fusion w/Lauren
Come and join our guest teacher, Lauren Chiarello, visiting us all the way from NYC! Pilates Fusion is a dynamic core strength class inspired by Pilates, Barre, & Yoga. We’ll focus on arms, thighs, glutes + abdominals – tailored to YOUR needs! During Lauren’s energizing class, you’ll tap into your inner athlete, find grace + unleash razor-sharp determination.

A minimum donation of CI$25 is all that is required to join the class, which includes a social hour afterwards at 12:15 for bubbles, heart-healthy nibbles, prize draws, and lots of fun! We will also have Cayman Heart Fund T-shirts available for CI$20 each so that you can help spread the awareness!
